Home Visits

We provide home visits in the east Cork and city area to those patients who are unable to attend the clinic. This includes treatment in your own home or nursing home. If you are too ill or incapacitated to travel or if you would simply like to be treated in the comfort of your own home.

Patients may find it difficult to get in/out of a car to attend physiotherapy such as post-surgery (after a joint replacement) or neurological patients such as Stroke, Parkinson’s disease or Multiple Sclerosis. It is sometimes very useful to see a patient in their own environment to assess how they are managing (e.g. climbing stairs, getting out of bed, or out of a chair) and it might help us to adapt their exercise programme to suit them. It also allows other family members to get involved in the patients rehabilitation.
