Sports injuries can be acquired by anyone during any exercise from the leisure walker or jogger to the elite athlete. Injuries range from acute tears and sprains, to chronic repetitive strain injuries. Physiotherapists are trained to diagnose these conditions accurately, and to provide a management programme.
This programme includes both hands on therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation exercises specific both to the condition and to the athlete’s needs.
